Manifesto: Going Bald Is the Liberation of Literally Everything

For this cliché performance, I wrote a research paper and manifesto about it, but I think I lost the word file. Oh well.
It was Saint Patrick's Day in 2018, and I was tired of random guys thinking I should be flattered as they circled me and tried flirting with me while I was simply enjoying my burger alone at Shake Shack.
I was also annoyed by the assumptions people made about me—a polite and well-behaved Asian woman with long, straight hair. My hair got so long because I hate going to the salon, and I also kind of kept it as a form of punishment for myself. I don’t enjoy having long hair at all. That’s another long story about self-punishment, but it doesn’t need to be shared.
Anyway, here’s a cute video recording of me having fun shaving that day. I also saw the act as a gift to whatever god out there is deciding who deserves to be seen as a real artist.
